  • Bubble Bags™ use the strongest nylon fabric. Our nylon sidewalls are 100% waterproof. The waterproof coating is PVC free.
  • Triple stitched with 100% nylon bonded thread for extra strength.

Bubble Bags can be purchased as singles, or in sets of 4 or 8 bags. Original 5 Gallon 3 bag sets are still available in limited quantities.

  • Our 8 bag kits allow you to separate your herbal extract into 8 different grades – different plants have varying crystal sizes so this will let you keep the best possible extract from your garden.
  • Our 4 bag kits are specially designed to produce the best possible quality of extract for our customers who prefer a streamlined, more cost-effective process.

To suit varying budgets & purposes, we offer 3 grades of bags for you to choose from : Lite, Standard & Original. The Original and Standards micron sizes are identified by the colour of the sidewalls, while the Lites use the thread & piping along the bottom.

With the introduction of Youtube, Bubble Man began creating videos as a way to give an educational yet entertaining view on Bubble Bags™ and the ice water extraction techniques. See this "How To Videos" playlist on Bubbleman's World YouTube Channel for various videos on how to use Bubble Bags.

How to Make Cold Water Hash with Bubble Bags™

    1. Always rinse the bags thoroughly with cold water immediately after use.
Do not use warm or hot water, as this will clog the screens.
    2. Repeat if necessary.
    3. Hang the bags and always allow to air dry completely before storing them to prevent mold or rot issues.
► For heavy stains, soak overnight, then repeat step 1.
► Never use detergent or solvents.
► If your screens become clogged,  you can use 99% isopropyl alcohol on a soft toothbrush to gently remove tough stains.  Keep alcohol away from edge of screen (stitching).

The best way to learn how to use our dry sift screens is by watching the Bubbleman's educational videos.

Bubbleman's Top 5 Tips For Making Bubble Hash

    • Tip 1: The bomb makes the bomb. You cannot make quality without QUALITY. The Bubblebags will purify your product.
    • Tip 2: Use lots of ice. You can never use too much. As long as the mixture is moving around and the ice is bashing, then you’re on the right track.
    • Tip 3: Gentle first runs will save your quality, as well. Do not over-mix because you’re worried about not getting enough, or all of it. You can go back and run a second batch and capture all that you missed.
    • Tip 4: Properly breaking up the bubble is HUGE, and probably should be tip number one. The process is two schools of thought: Micro-Planing, and Sieving. These are your two options, and you can view both of them on videos at Bubbleman’s World on YouTube.
    • Tip 5: Once you have powdered the hash properly, now it’s time to DRY IT. I use a desiccant-like cardboard. It’s lined with parchment paper, and once closed, the cardboard can pull and wick moisture from the hash. This is very important, as you will not dry the hash properly on a plate, or plastic, or metal or anything that is NOT going to wick the moisture from INSIDE the hash.
An addendum to Tip 5 is once you have your hash dry ( 7+ days in the cardboard box), you can now actually CURE THE HASH. Once you have DRIED the wax membrane of the trichome head, you can allow for the hash to cure and stabilize. I have some that has been curing for more than seven years, and is stable beyond stable. I have friends who have hash that is a month or two old, and is buttering out. Always dry and cure your hash properly.

The extract you want  occurs in about  45-125 microns. If the particles are larger than about 125 microns, they are not very potent. As the particle size decreases down to 125 microns, the potency increases. At about 125 microns, the powder is what most people would consider good hash. The potency increases as the particle size decreases down to 45 microns. At 45 microns, the trichome particles are at a point that most consider optimal. Particles smaller than 45 microns tend be broken or immature trichomes which have a medium potency.

    Notes about Dry Ice
Some extractors choose to use dry ice in combination with bags or screens, in order to maximize the amount of trichomes that are harvested from the material. Close proximity to dry ice chills the cannabis to the extent it becomes super brittle and more susceptible to releasing all of its trichomes during the sieving process.

However, this comes at the expense of increased contaminants. For this reason, we do not recommend the use of dry ice in Dry Sift Hash production.

Since our products are not recommended for use with dry ice, and have not been tested as such, we cannot offer our warranty if used with dry ice.
